Join us for a hands-on community art project at the Community Pop-Up Gallery at the Galleries at LynnArts from July 1st through July 19th, 2025 as we co-create a life-sized Banyan Tree made entirely from recycled and repurposed paper.
We invite artists, makers, families, students, and neighbors to stop by, drop off clean paper recyclables, and spend a few moments contributing to the tree. No experience is needed—just your creativity and a willingness to connect.
What You Can Do:
Bring clean paper items like newspaper, packing paper, magazines, cardboard, or paper bags.
Visit during open hours to twist, fold, or shape paper as part of the tree’s growth.
Come alone or with a group—everyone is welcome!
The completed tree will be displayed in the Pop-Up Gallery throughout July as a tribute to unity, resilience, and the power of collaboration.
Let’s build something beautiful—together.
